Earth-friendly manufacturing through reduction of waste and effective disposal management
We have established waste reduction targets and are working hard to achieve them. We are also aiming for earth-friendly manufacturing through effective disposal management and increased efficiency.

Production operations are intended to help prevent global warming by promoting energy conservation and by reducing CO2 emissions

We provide safe and secure products. At the same time, our basic environmental philosophy is that environmental issues are some of the most important concerns shared by all humankind. With this understanding in mind, we aim for harmony between our corporate operations and the global environment, as well as to be a trustworthy company that coexists with nature and local communities.
- CO2 (GHG) emission reductions
We will continue our efforts with achieving the target of a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by fiscal 2030, compared with the FY2013 level.

Compliance with environmental laws (regulations) and use of water resources
We comply with all laws and regulations; strives to protect the environment and reduce risks to water quality, air quality, noise and vibrations, and soil. We also effectively manage and dispose of asbestos, CFCs, PCBs, mercury, and other waste.
Furthermore, we reduce and recycle the water used in our manufacturing processes. We also use water according to the regional water characteristics, for instance, mountain water at the Ueda factory.
